The key to health and happiness is indeed inside each of us. In this series of classes, we will explore the effective use of breathing exercises (pranayama) and guided meditation for a calm yet focused mind.
Each class will cover:
* Light stretching or chair yoga or sukshma yoga
* Brief discussion on health topics such as: what causes stress, enhancing our energy, healthy eating, tendencies of mind, power of breath, science of meditation
* Breathwork (pranayama)
* Guided meditation
* Q&A
The classes will cover ancient techniques that are very gentle yet powerful for our modern life, and there are no special prerequisites.
Instructor:
The instructor Vinita Deodhar is a RYT-200 certified yoga and meditation instructor and proud resident of Lexington since 2010. Vinita has been active in community yoga and meditation programs, including yoga-in-the-park and Cary library meditation seminars. She works full time as a onlinephentermine.net program manager in the semiconductor industry and enjoys her time with her husband and 8-year old son. Vinita and her team of co-instructors are instructors from Art of Living foundation and have been passionately teaching breath and meditation workshops in greater Boston area for several years.
