This intensive-but-fun course begins with a speech screening to identify the sounds that are necessary to modify in order to improve your pronunciation skills, then systematically works on a few sounds a week until all of the key sounds are covered. Typically people have between 9 and 14 sounds that need to be addressed. Once you are able to hear the difference between the accented sound that you are producing and the target sound you are aiming for, the fun begins: you will learn to make the sound by itself, then within words, then phrases, then sentences, and finally in your automatic speech. Making significant improvement in your spontaneous speech is easier than you may think. Excellent communication skills are key to success.
