Mei Zhang

Bio

Mr. Mei Zhang, has studied from and trained by renowned masters in Chinese Calligraphy in China. He was a member of Chinese Calligrapher’s Association in Sichuan and Shanghai before coming to U.S. Currently he is a member of Painters Guild in Lexington Arts and Crafts Society (LACS), a member of New England Art Therapy Association (NEATA), an editor of North American Journal of Medicine and Health, and an editor of Pulse Magazine. By teaching calligraphy and Chinese traditional painting, Mr. Zhang is dedicated to share the traditional way of art learning process to benefit calligraphers and painters of all kinds. Mr. Zhang also work on research articles about and participate in art therapy for autism patients.

Bio

张眉 医学博士,自幼长期研习书法,师从书法名师。曾在重庆市青少年书法比赛中获奖。参加过四川省书法新人新作展、四川省书法家邀请展,并被接纳为四川省书法家协会会员。后来移居上海工作,成为上海书法家协会会员,应邀参加过上海书法家协会会员展、上海大阪友好城市书法邀请展和书协交流活动。近年来在波士顿地区,在从事医学研究工作以外利用业余时间,用中英双语致力于中国传统文化的教学活动。
